*pardon the grammer, it's been eons since I blog & used proper English*
Do you feel envious each time you see Angmohs speak?
Well at least I do!
It's not the slang or the pronunciation that awe me,
but it's the personality and the confidence;
how they managed to turn a conversation on ice water so exciting and engaging!
how a simple question on "what do you want honey?" turns into something so adorable, so caring
(it's a convo between a dad & his lil daughter btw)
During lunchtime a few hours ago,
an Angmoh couple with their young children came into the cafe for a cuppa...
Trust me,
they were both so patient yet firm with their daughter..
Kkz here how it went...
Daddy went to the counter for order while the Mom was already seated with the baby...
So,
daughter came running to Daddy,
"I want bagel! I want bagel Daddy!" repeatedly
She was not crying, nor was she happy..
Both parents,
especially the Mom
(from the seat)
Urgh I just can't explain the scenario!
I'm lost for words now....
It's just simply,
captivating & adoring...
They let their children run loose and yet,
they are still very discipline..
No shouting,
running around like hooligans,
disturbing people..
They are just,
awesome!
Sigh...
How I wish our locals are like that..
How I wish Malay parents aren't so hard on their children..
Kids need to be let loose & explore when young!
Hear me parents & future parents!
& oh there's this particular barrista in Sembawang Shopping Centre's Starbucks who is just so charming!
Not 'cause he's hot & stuff,
trust me,
he's not.
But he just have this particular warmth personality that is simply WOW!
He can simply open his mouth to welcome anyone & have a chat with anyone that enters or exits the cafe...
Old aunties, angmohs, small kids, nosy locals...
He simply entertains all of them with a smile...
How terrific can that be?
There was this once,
uhm well just a lil' while ago actually,
I was feeling damn groggy and it showed on my face as per normal,
so I decided to leave my seat to take a walk around e mall for a while...
So when I was about to exit the cafe,
I took a handful of serviettes
(I'm having a bad flu).
He looked up from the counter & gave that
"Oh gosh I'm so tired + don't worry your belongings will be safe here".
Well of course I felt sheepish & snotty for being so cheapo in taking sucha amount of serviettes and left the cafe...
Haha...
But hoots!
That was actually a nice way for a staff to give assurance to its customer.
Well at least that was how I felt larz...
& a guy who simply can open up a conversation with anyone is just damn adoring & charming..
Kkz don't get me wrong here...
That's not my purpose of coming here to study..
But I'm always in awe each time I see people behaving such way!
Well coz I'm not that way & I speak my feelings through my facial expression....
Kkz I'm tired now & Daddy is still ain't here yet...
I need my sleep....
